Quantum Science & Climate Change...

...are my two primary interests. I'm a theoretical chemical physicist working on quantum computation and classical simulation of quantum physics/chemistry/materials. I hold a BS in mechanical engineering, a BS in chemistry, an MA in physics, and a PhD in chemical physics. I also spend much of my free time working on climate change advocacy. I like reading novels and other literature, especially the type that scrambles our previous understanding of humanity and reality. The type that Franz Kafka meant when he wrote, "If the book we're reading doesn't wake us up with a blow to the head, what are we reading for?"
